Setting up Your Company Profile

Here you’ll learn how to setup your basic company details such name, add a logo, website, phone number, address and TAX number.

Your Company Profile information is used for all of your customers PDF documents, such as: Estimate, Job, Invoice or Payment Receipts.

NOTE: when filling out these fields, it’s not necessary to click a Save button. Saving is done automatically.

You will then be presented with the ‘Company Information’ screen.

Not all of the entries are necessary, but you should enter at least the following:

  • Company Name
  • Business Address
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • Time Zone

To put your logo in Field Service CRM, click the blue Pen icon. To remove the image, hover again and click the Delete icon. The image must be smaller than 250 pixels wide x 100 pixels high.

Selecting a specific Locale will change how regional settings and time zone are formatted.

Dates can be formatted in one of four styles:

Month/Day/Year (02/12/2018)
Month.Day.Year (02.12.2018)
Month Day,Year (February 12, 2018)
Month-Day-Year (02-12-2018)

In the Tax Information section, enter your Tax ID number, and in the Taxes field choose the type of tax that will be added to your service and material fees. You can define several types of taxes such as Sales Tax, State Tax, etc. To add a type of tax, or to set a default tax type, click Add More.

Enter the name and rate for each tax type you want to add. Each tax type has a star icon; click the star for the tax type that is to be the default. When finished, click Save.

In Payment Terms you can set up the various terms you can include on your Invoices, such as “Net-7”, or “Payment due on receipt”. To add new payment terms, or to define default terms, click Add More.

Under Terms & Conditions, enter any terms you wish to appear on your Estimates and Invoices.

Under Customer Message, enter a general message you’d like your customers to see on Estimate, Invoices, and Receipts.

The information listed in Account Settings will affect much of the work that you do in Field Service CRM.

Account Settings are divided into the following sections:

Profile – Your name and contact details, signature, account login, and social media integration
Users – Employees and contractors in your company
Tags – Color-coded identifiers for types of employees, customers, or services
Services – Items provided by your company, including services, labor, and materials
Notifications – Preferences for notifications received by employees and customers
Calendar – Preferences for the appearance and information included in calendar events, such as estimate visits or jobs
My Subscription – Field Service CRM account information, such as subscription type and payments
